Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Short version: Hexhop does not collect, store, share, or sell your personal data. Nothing leaves your device except what Apple needs to process a one-time purchase.
What we collect
Nothing. Hexhop has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not know who you are. We do not know what levels you play. We do not know when you open the app.
What stays on your device
Your game progress (completed levels, stars, best times, ghost replays, XP, unlocked skins, custom levels you create) lives in your device's local storage. It is never transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app removes it all.
Apple in-app purchases
Hexhop uses Apple's StoreKit to process the one-time purchase that unlocks chapters 5 through 20. When you tap "Unlock Full Game," your iPhone or iPad communicates with Apple's servers to complete the transaction. We receive a purchase receipt from Apple that tells the app which product you own. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or Apple ID.
Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Game Center (if enabled)
If Hexhop adds Game Center leaderboards in a future update, opting in is explicit and optional. Game Center is Apple's service — we do not see your Game Center handle, friends, or score history except the anonymous leaderboard rank the app needs to display. You can sign out of Game Center at any time in iOS Settings.
Children's privacy
Hexhop is rated 4+. It contains no chat, no user-generated content shared to third parties, and no web browsing. It is designed to be safe for players of any age.
Network activity
The app makes exactly three kinds of network calls, all initiated by you:
- App Store purchase/restore — when you tap "Unlock Full Game" or "Restore Purchases."
- Support link — when you tap the support email link or this website.
- App Store review prompt — Apple's own in-app review UI, which you can dismiss.
There are no background requests, no telemetry beacons, no feature flags fetched at runtime.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing to request, export, correct, or delete. Your local save data is yours. You control it by using, backing up, or deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated date at the top will reflect it, and material changes will be announced on the Hexhop home page before they take effect.
